Eligibility Criteria for NUMS Admissions:

DEFINITION STUDENT CATEGORY
There are three categories of seats distribution in Nums admissions. These are
1. Local Student:-
Local students are those who have Pakistani Nationality.
2. Foreign Student:-
The term Foreign Student means:-
Foreign students are those who are;
Foreign nationals and Pakistani people who have dual nationality / resident status in any other country than Pakistan.
OR
Student is a Pakistani national but has passed an examination from a University outside Pakistan or Examination body or Foreign system of education, which is equivalent to intermediate level of Pakistan

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NUMS ADMISSIONS (LOCAL STUDENTS + FOREIGN STUDENTS)
1. FSc. / qualification equivalent to FSc. from a foreign university or foreign education system with
Minimum of 60% (660/1100) marks in aggregate (Without including marks of NCC or Hifz-e-Quran) with. Three science subjects which are must are
Biology 
Chemistry
Physics or Mathematics

The  IBCC equivalence will be accepted in aggregate for Nums admissions.

2. There is no age limit for admission in MBBS/BDS Course in nums.  A candidate should possess mandatory mental and physical health for continuation of mbbs/bds study course. A valid TOEFL or IELTS with a minimum score of 500 or 5.5 respectively, will be needed to present if the medium of instruction two year prior to application for Mbbs/entry test is not English 

3. Any student who have availed 4 chances in 1st/2nd professional of MBBS/BDS and is expelled from any public or private sector medical/ dental college, shall NOT be eligible for continuation of medical/dental studies and shall NOT be eligible for fresh admission in nums under any circumstances.

QUALIFICATION EQUIVALENT TO F.SC FOR NUMS ADMISSIONS:

Which qualifications are equivalent to FSc for Nums admissions? Here is the answer
A level students and American High School Diploma holders have to submit Equivalence Certificate of IBCC (Inter Board Committee of Chairman) at the time of application submission. No certificate is accepted after the submission of application form. A provisional IBCC certificate is also accepted for initial submission of application form. Certificates can be obtained from following offices in Pakistan
