HOW TO COVER BIOCHEMISTRY OF 1ST YEAR MBBS?

 

The Most Controversial Subject of MBBS so far regarding which books to follow and which to not. As far as | have seen from past 6 years no Single book is perfect to pass the professional exam of UHS P.U KMU and K.E. Therefore we always use a combo of 2-3 books for biochemistry. Different seniors guide regarding different combos but the most common and most reliable one is Lippincott + Satyanarayan + Harper [Few topics].

It’s an easy subject based on its Cramming nature. But also the dangerous one because students don’t give proper attention to it rather give their time to Anatomy and Physiology. Give weekly based read to it must so that you can cover a topic a week.

Helping Things that can help in your Study:-

1 >Use Reference Books for extra material and to understand better. But don’t take them as your Companion books. There should be 1 Main book!

2 > Use World Web Dictionary, Dorland dictionary, 3D Atlas for Mobile users

3 > Download the Video and Animated lectures | provide and watch them before you read the topic [The Most Advised and helpful Tip]

4 > Group study after you guys completed any topic/Chapter. Ask Questions from each others.

5 > Write the main points once you completely understand the topic and save that note to revise afterward.

62 Make notes if you are good at it. It will help you For SURE.

In MBBS you should have full grip on important question, Past Proff questions and Model Paper questions. I’ll provide these things time to time.
